After 9/11 (2001), the CIA contacted us (Sling-System, Inc.) directly requesting that we ship 800 Sling-System™ slings to their Langley, Virginia headquarters’ facilities for the agency’s officers’ deployment to Afghanistan, in response to the terrorists’ attack of the USA, at the World Trade Center, New York.

US Marine Corp,
After seeing our original sling in 2005, the USMC requested two modifications: quick disconnect and a modified front attachment- we called that sling “The General™”. They then ordered the General Slings for all of the USMC small arms and requested that we also train their trainers at Camp Pendleton and Quantico. They listed us as sole source and guided us in getting our NSN and GSA. Our contract ended in 2009.
